Sphinx and the Labyrinth

Distilled ambitions flow with rivers of fire melting away the walls that shadow sempiternally.

Entranced by affliction that leads astray from the path the efflorescence of serendipity reaches towards the sun in an anfractuous journey through the mud of subconsciousness.

Light burns with nothingness in the vast, white sea that is caged like a predator. Waiting upon release the immured lingers submissively.

Expressionless and docile the limitations of desire are incarcerated by a crimson labyrinth to which you hold the only key.

  1. Wow. This made my heart hurt. Excellent writing to convey such emotion that the reader could empathize in a real way. It is good for us to express our pain in writing. It is better that keeping it in. The wordpress family, although disfunctional at times as all families are, is at least, a place with a lot of people who can relate and validate each other.
    You are very gifted.
